The Old King's Crown Board Game
The Old King's Crown is a strategy game of skill and intrigue set in an ancient, crumbling kingdom, where every card opens a window into a fantastical land. Players choose a faction to command, each brought to life with unique abilities and hand-crafted illustrations, and vie for political and martial control as the Nobility, the Clans, the Uprising or the Gathering.
Around the grand kingdom board, opponents contest the locations and regions of the map to secure vital resources, sending emissaries to court, journeying to distant sites of power and searching the great road for new artifacts, allies and opportunities. The system is competitively balanced and low-luck, blending deck-building, area control, tableau-building, unique player powers and bidding, with a fully featured solo mode that includes its own rulebook, components and cards.
