Timespan Board Game
Timespan is a civilization board game from the designers of Automania and Bad Company, played over five rounds from the stone age to the space age in about 90 minutes. Each game pairs one of six asymmetric civilizations with one of six unique technology boards, and you customize further by recruiting among 175 historic persons, buildings, technologies and wonders.
There is no warfare: the game focuses on the peaceful sides of civilization building, exploration and building an economic engine. Large parts of play are simultaneous, with an exploration phase of drafting cards and discovery tiles followed by an action phase where workers activate cards on your timeline, action boxes on your civilization board and your own wonders.

How to use
Played over 5 rounds, each with an exploration phase and an action phase. In the exploration phase, players take turns in order of their positions on the harmony track to draft cards and discovery tiles from the current age, then move their camels, possibly visiting other players' wonders for effects and rewards. The action phase is played simultaneously: each player has a civilization board with a timeline where they can play up to 4 cards, pushing older cards into their heritage. Workers activate cards in the timeline, action boxes on civilization boards and their own wonders, providing resources or advancements on the culture, science, ship, flight or space tracks. At the end of the second and fourth rounds, a new age begins with new cards and discovery tiles.
